Congratulations
Rosalie Poynter
2007 - 2008 Volunteer of the Year

Rosalie Poynter was voted Volunteer of the Year in a secret ballot by her fellow volunteers from the past fiscal year.
For 35 years, Rosalie has been looking after those less fortunate. She started making hats, mittens, & scarves with her mother for a local orphanage.
Most recently, she made care baskets for elderly residents at the John George Hall for Men & the Jackson Friendly Home for Women.
Rosalie, who works in Accounting, says she is humbled by the recognition. "My mother always said it's not proper to do something for someone & expect something back. She said to do it because you want to, and do it from your heart."
Rosalie's current project is knitting booties to fill with candy for retirement home residents.
